Obituary of Mary K. Antoine

Mary K. Antoine, 77, of Peoria, died September 12, 2014 at 11:00pm at Methodist Hospital Hospice. Mary was born October 11, 1936 in Keokuk, IA to Vernon and Mabel (Boos) Kimbrough. She married A. Darrell Antoine on September 25, 1955 in Basco, Il. Mary was a nurse's aide for many years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, reading, flowers, traveling, and her family. She was a former Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She was happiest surrounded by grandchildren and her new twin great granddaughters, and will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, located at 428 West McClure Avenue in Peoria on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm. Mary is survived by her daughter Kim (John) Bricker of Chesterfield, MO; son John (Sharon) Antoine of Memphis, TN; son Darren (Bianca Hummell) Antoine of East Peoria, and daughter Kathy Antoine of Glen Ellyn; 4 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
