Obituary of Roy Baker

Roy A. Baker, Sr., 71 of Chillicothe passed on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on September 3, 1945 in Keiser AR. to Roy and Ella Mae (Minton) Baker. He is survived by two sons, Roy A. Baker of Geneseo and Russell (Donna) Baker of Pensacola, FL; one daughter, Raschel (Jeremy) Stout of Geneseo; three grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemond (Jerry) Brown of Morton and Shirley (Gene) Ashley of Heiber Springs, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents. Roy worked for many years at Riverside Chevrolet in Chillicothe where he worked in the Service Department. He loved the outdoors, being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Peoria Casting Club. Relatives and friend are invited to a memorial service on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
