Obituary of Ruth Klein

Ruth Klein, age 100, of Peoria passed away on Friday, March 31, 2016 at Liberty Village of Peoria. She was born August 16, 1916 in Peoria to Major and Nora (Rothan) Weers. Her only son Jack Klein died on June 21, 2009 and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Klein died October 12, 2013. She is survived by nieces Diane Rians of Peoria and Pat Webster of Palatine, IL; nephew Major Weers of Medina, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. She was a 1934 graduate of Peoria Central High School. She worked as a secretary until she retired. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, traveling, and was also a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church. Private entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.
