Obituary of Hilda Ridgeway

Hilda M. Ridgeway, 85, of Peoria passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Morton Terrace Nursing Home in Morton. Hilda was born on June 21, 1932 in Peoria the daughter of Everett and Goldie (Monroe) Carrington. She married Emmett Ridgeway in Peoria. Surviving is her daughter, Rosie (Eric) Davis of Chillicothe; a son, George (Kristi Moffett-Knudson) Ridgeway; a grandson, Jason (Julie) Scherer of Chillicothe; a brother, Everett (Eleanor) Carrington of Peoria, and a sister, Sandra Guyse of Lewisville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stepmother, Mabel Carrington, and two brothers, Ray and Jerry. The family would like to thank the staff at Morton Terrace for the care given to their mother. Private graveside services will be held at the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chillicothe Altrusa International Scholarship Fund or to the Greater Peoria Area Crime Stoppers.
