Obituary of Eva White

Eva I. White, 74, of Chillicothe passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 peacefully at her home. Eva was born on November 27, 1942 in Norwood Park, the daughter of Alan and Eva Coates. She married Stanley White on June 1, 1963. He survives. Also surviving are: four daughters, Audrey Woolley of Brea, CA, Cheryl Singleton of Peoria, Michelle Best of Chillicothe, and Jeanette Stong of Little America; one sister, Donna Nelson of Florida; one brother, Dawson Coates of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. Eva was a retired Registered Nurse at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. She was very involved in her church. Eva had been a member at Grace Presbyterian in Peoria since 1971 and had helped with Childrens' Ministries for over 30 years. Eva was a gardener, but one of her true passions was art. Eva was a painter, stained glass artist, and even sculpted. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life for Eva at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria on July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
