Obituary of Charles Gregory

Charles E. Gregory, Jr., 66, of Peoria passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home. Charles was born May 24, 2017 in Springfield, MO to Patricia and Charles Gregory. He married Mary R. Myers on July 16, 1996 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are: two step-sons, Justin (Julie) Myers of Kilbourne and Jason (Alyssa) Myers of Springbay; one step-daughter, Heather Myers of Peoria; six grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; five children Mary K. Gregory, Sheri Gregory, Cari Gregory-Eash, Brandon Gregory, Colleen Gregory; two sisters, Kathy Gregory and Barb (Jim) Thompson; and three brothers, Kevin (Marsha), Tony (Patty), and Bobby (Marilee) Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents. Charles worked for Caterpillar as an assembler for 30 years and HK Logistics as a fork truck driver for 10 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a lifetime member of VFW Post #4999 in Chillicothe. Charles was an avid sports fan and would watch any kinds. Out of all, he loved his St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings the most. A Celebration of Life will be held for Charles at the VFW Post #4999 in Chillicothe on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The family asks friends and relatives attending to please wear their favorite sports team apparel.
