Obituary of Douglas Brown

Douglas Simpson Brown passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2018, at the age of 55. He was born on February 28, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Robert N and Jacqueline (Bowen) Brown. Doug graduated from Dunlap High School in 1980. Despite the fact that he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at a young age, he loved life and was charismatic, charming and kind. He was liked by everyone and will be sorely missed. He is now at peace and resting comfortably with the Lord. Doug is survived by his father Robert N. (Nancy) Brown of Chillicothe, IL, his mother Jacqueline Bowen of Washington, IL, his brother Bradley (Lori) Brown of Rockford, MI, sisters Tracy (Hugo) Barahona of Katy Texas, Julie (Scott) Carnahan of Peoria, IL, nine nephews and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a cousin and several aunts and uncles. Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Graveside service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon Willows South for the wonderful care Doug received while residing there.
