Obituary of Hollis Crisp

Hollis J. "Dude" Crisp, 91, of Peoria passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Farmington County Manor, Farmington. Dude was born on December 5, 1926 in Minier the son of Philitis J. and Etta F. (Randlet) Crisp. He married Georgia Young on September 11, 1948 in Peoria. Surviving are his two daughters, Joyce (John) Health of Chillicothe and Dianne (Steve) Hartseil of Peoria; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 8 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife on March 13, 2011, half brother, and three children: James, Lonnie, and Rebecca Brunner. Dude worked for 35 years for Hiram Walker and Sons, Inc. Distillery in Peoria. Dude was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved westerns, especially watching John Wayne. A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
