Obituary of Lorraine Maxwell

PEORIA - Lorraine E. Maxwell, 94, of Peoria passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at UnitPoint Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Lorraine was born on June 26, 1923 in Peoria the daughter of George L. and Helen (Chapman) Relker, Sr. Surviving are her grandchildren: Doug (Vickie) Maxwell of East Peoria, Troy (Cheri) Maxwell of Creve Coeur, Sean Maxwell of Deer Creek, Chantel Maxwell of Deer Creek, Clayton (Rebecca) Maxwell of Eureka, and Rachel Nelson of Japan; many great grand children; many great great grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons: Robert D. Maxwell, Jr. and Barry C. Maxwell. and three brothers, Clayton, George and an infant. Lorraine worked for Bemis Bag Company for 42 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Glad Tiding Assembly of God in East Peoria. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at her church, Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the church.
