Obituary of Naomi Floyd

Naomi R. Floyd, 92, of Chillicothe passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2018 at her home. Naomi was born on February 14, 1926 in Peoria the daughter of Elmer and Savannah (Hubble) Fitch. She married Herman E. Floyd on July 5, 1947 in Cisne, IL. Naomi is survived by her son, Steven (Cheryl) Floyd of Normal, two daughters Susan (Warren) Thom of Plainfield and Kathleen Floyd of Chillicothe, nine grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters. Naomi worked for Foster Gallagher, Inc in Peoria. She enjoyed gardening and working around the yard. she also liked to read and play cards, which she always liked to win. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chillicothe City Cemetery in Chillicothe.
