On behalf of the Bergan High School class of 1972, we extend our deepest sympathies to all of Jim’s family and friends. In high school, Jim was a popular and engaged classmate—from playing on the football team to helping “blow up” the Chemistry lab. Despite his “rebel” hair cut (quite a bit longer than any of The Beatles), Jim was particularly good at fooling the faculty, one of the Brothers in particular. His intelligence was clear to all sides, and we remain thankful that Jim was actually on his classmates’ side…whew. After graduation, Jim remained a loyal Bergan Trojan. His help in reunion accounting duties, and his relentless pursuit in making the hanging of our class picture in the “hall of fame” a reality did not go unappreciated. Thank you, Jim, for being a great classmate and friend. We will never forget you, and will honor your life and our memories of you always.
