Obituary of Eleanor Hinman

CHILLICOTHE - Eleanor was born on October 18, 1934 in Mackinaw the daughter of Robert and Hattie L. (Washburn) Lancaster. She married Robert E. Hinman on August 31, 1952 in Mackinaw. Surviving is her husband, Robert of Chillicothe; children, Kristie (Michael) Atterberry of Briggsville, WI, Melody (John) LaPayne of Edelstein, and Julie (Richard) Fehrman of Normal; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Eleanor was a member of the University of Illinois Home Extension when it was active in Chillicothe. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, and doing crafts. She loved entertaining her grandkids. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Private family burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery following the service. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
