Obituary of Ronald England

Ronald E. England, 80, of Peoria passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Ron was born on May 22, 1938 in Peoria the son of Robert and Elsie (Apland) England. Ron has two sisters, Janis (Al) Laird of Griggsville and Janet (Roy) Garman of Peoria. Ron married Audrey L. Garman on August 14, 1966 in Peoria. Together they had two sons, Craig (Tam) England of St. Louis, MO and Eric (Colleen) England of Kwajalein, Marshall Islands; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Scott England both of Kwajalein. Ron served his country in the US Air Force. He later worked as a Machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Company, where he retired. Ron liked volunteering at Wheels of Time and at PAWS in Peoria. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge at 1 Elks Dr, Peoria 61604 on Sunday, Oct. 14 2018, from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to PAWS or the American Humane Society.
